Dan Uslan is set to be named the publisher of a new Niche Media publication, Michigan Avenue. Uslan was a Senior Vice-President of Morris Visitor Publications which publishes Where Chicago magazine.

Michigan Avenue is a year behind schedule according to a report by Crain's Chicago Business' Lorene Yue. The first 400 page issue is planned for September 17. It has a planned circulation of 70,000. The bi-monthly plans to retail for $5.99. The upscale glossy also counts Susanna Homan of "Susanna's night out" as an executive editor. Rick Patrone and Liza Sweitzer are also listed on staff, they were formerly with Chicago Magazine.
