Headlining the agenda, the Board will vote on issuing $2.3 billion in bonds to build and remodel schools across the district in the coming years. One of the first of those projects, also up for approval tomorrow, is the $38.8 million Belmont Cragin Elementary School.

The Board will also vote on spending $41 million to renovate 22 schools and to demolish Wright Elementary. Senn High School will get nearly $5 million in upgrades, while Steinmetz High School is getting $7.2 million for renovations and Clemente High School will see $4.2 million for remodeling.

The meeting starts at 10:30 a.m. on the Fifth Floor of the Chicago Public Schools headquarters, 125 S. Clark St. Residents who wish to comment during the meeting must sign up by 9 a.m.
