Firefighters battling high-rise blaze

Chicago firefighters are battling a fire in a West Loop high rise.

Emergency crews were called to the building at 130 S. Canal at 11:45 for a fire in an apartment on the ninth floor, said a Fire Department spokesman.

No injuries were immediately reported.
