Two men were robbed at gunpoint in separate incidents a half hour apart on the South Side Monday, police said.

In the first incident, which occurred at 4 p.m. in the 12700 block of South Halsted Street, a man was robbed of his wallet by a gunman wearing a dark hood over his face, Chicago Police spokesman Marcel Bright said.

The second robbery occurred at 4:30 p.m. in the 11900 block of South State Street when two men - one of whom carried a handgun - accosted a man and stole his jacket, Bright said. The robbery occurred about two miles from the first attack, he said.

No one was injured in either attack.

Police do not yet know if the incidents are related.
