The Cook County medical examiner's office has requested dental records from the family of a 14-year-old South Side girl who disappeared Nov. 13.
Chicago Police spokeswoman and officer Laura Kubiak said today that police have no reason to believe that the disappearance of eighth-grader Deanna Glass is related to last week's discovery of the bodies of two women who had been strangled and set on fire, but had to rule out the possibility.
Glass, of 4700 S. King Drive, is a student at Overton Elementary School. She was last seen leaving her apartment sometime after school last Tuesday.
