Elderly man wounded in Rogers Park shooting

Police are looking for two men who shot an elderly Rogers Park resident Friday.

Otis Hicks, 90, was standing in front of his apartment in the 1500 block of West Juneway Terrace at 7:15 a.m., when he was approached by two unidentified men. They began shooting at him, apparently without any reason, according to police.

Hicks was wounded in the leg, but he managed to get in his apartment and to call officers.

Hicks was taken to St. Francis Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

The shooting is still under investigation.
