Fires break out on West Side

Three fires broke out on the West Side early this morning, Fire Department Spokesman Richard Rosado said.

No injuries were reported.

The first fire occurred in a two-story building at 2830 W. Lexington St. at 3:05 a.m.

The second  happened in another two-story building at 3839 W. Adams St. at 5:50 a.m.

The final fire, started in the basement of a two-story building at 1006 N. Waller Ave. at 6:50 a.m.

Investigators are still looking for the causes of the fires, but believe they are not related, Rosado said.
