A 24-year old man was shot to death outside his Englewood home early this morning.

Edward Moss, of the 400 block of West 57th Street, was standing outside his home around 1 a.m. when a gunman opened fire at him, Police Officer Sgt. Eugene Mullins said.

Witnesses say they heard gunshots and then found Moss lying on the sidewalk.

Mullins said Moss was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are still investigating the shooting.
