A man walking northbound in the 5900 block of North Ravenswood Avenue Wednesday, was stabbed in the shoulder by an unknown assailant dressed in black and wearing a ski-mask, police said.

The victim, who was treated at Swedish Convent Hospital and released, told police that his attacker did not speak or  attempt to rob him.
