Man struggles against robbers

Two men attempted to rob a man
Friday night in the 800 West Block
of Lawrence Avenue.
One of the assailants hit the victim in the face, possibly breaking his nose, police said.

Both robbers then rifled the man's pockets and tried to grab his wallet and cell phone. The victim attempted to fight the men off by yelling and kicking. The robbers eventually fled without getting any of the victim's possessions.
The victim refused medical attention. His attackers were both 18-year-old black men, 5-foot-7 and weighing 150 pounds, according to police
