Pizza delivery man robbed at gunpoint

An 18-year-old delivery man was assaulted while delivering a pizza to 5004 N. Winchester on Saturday evening, said police.

While he was trying to locate the caller, the delivery man was approached by two Hispanic males. One hit the delivery man on the side of the head. The other held a semi-automatic blue steel handgun and demanded money and the keys to the driver's car, according to a police report.

The delivery man gave up his wallet cell phone and the pizza, but did not relinquish his car keys.

The two robbers fled northbound on Winchester. One was between 18 and 24 years old, 5 feet 5 or 6 inches tall, and 150 lbs., and wearing a black puffy jacket. The other was wearing a brown puffy jacket, a police report said.

The delivery man refused medical attention.
