Police seeking Loop bank robber

Police are looking for an unidentified man who robbed a bank in the Loop Tuesday morning.

According to Chicago police spokesman Marcel Bright, the man entered the Northside Community Bank at 205 W. Wacker Driver around 9:20 a.m. and handed a teller a "threatening" note.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the robber fled the scene, Bright said.

Police are investigating whether the robbery is related to the Jan. 4 robbery of a First American Bank Branch at 33 W. Monroe St., Bright said.
