Teenager robbed at knifepoint

A 16-year-old boy was robbed at knifepoint Sunday at midnight in the North Park neighborhood.

The boy was outside his home in the 3400 block of West Ardmore Avenue when a gold SUV containing four people  pulled up next to him, police said. A man jumped out of the vehicle, grabbed the victim, put a knife against his throat and demanded money.

The victim gave the robber $60 as well as his iPod and cell phone.

The robber fled in the SUV, police said.
