West Side woman dies after stabbing

A 25-year-old West Side man was charged with first-degree murder today after he repeatedly stabbed a woman in an apparent domestic dispute and killed her, police said.

According to police, William E. Williams, of the 4500 block of North Central Park, killed Brandy Ford, 30, just before seven a.m. yesterday.

Ford, who lived on the 4400 block of North Lawndale, was pronounced dead after an ambulance took her to Illinois Masonic Hospital.
