Decemberists with the Grant Park Orchestra
The Metro, one of Chicago's seminal rock clubs, will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a concert in the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millenium Park featuring the seminal indie rock group The Decemberists. Also featuring The Grant Park Orchestra, the concert will mark the Decemberists' first collaberation with a large string ensemble. Highlights will include orchestral arrangements of songs from the band's most recent album "The Crane Wife," voted best album of 2006 by NPR listeners. Admission is free.
