Chicago residents can adventure to other worlds and learn about different cultures this summer by traveling no farther than their local park through a free series, Storytelling in the Parks. Park District drama instructors will read and act out tales of nature, culture, adventure and other themes using props, costumes and sound to enhance the story experience. Families are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs to settle closely around the action. Storytellers may ask audience members to participate.
