I'm trying to catch up on all the e-mail in my inbox when I see one that interests me because it is bloggable. That is, I haven't seen it before. Editors Weblog has an entry by Kelley Vendeland about an effort at the Chicago Tribune to use online video chats between readers and editorial staff. Sounds great. Why haven't I heard of it before?
Here's the link: HERE. If my math is correct, and it usually isn't, I'd say there were less than 30 postings in a year, the most recent being several weeks ago. Not exactly traffic driving action. While the article promises discussions about zoning, and civic concerns, it appears that most of the discussions really involve sports.
Isn't that what sports radio is for? This is an interesting idea, but not exactly pursued with any interest.
