Let the beating begin

One of the things that makes journalism fun is competition. Who had the better story faster? Determining the winner is sometimes more art than science. It usually goes something like this: Newspaper A was first, but Newspaper B had a better story. Tough to decide who takes the round.

Yesterday was different, because the Sun-Times put a world-class smackdown on the Trib.
