If you've been reading the site this week, you've probably noticed we're publishing a lot more stories than we usually do, and there are a lot of unfamiliar bylines on top of those articles.
That's because our first crop of interns started on Monday. They'll be here all summer covering key stories throughout the city.
Here's a quick rundown:
* Adam Van Hart graduated just moments ago from Ohio State with a journalism degree. He's originally from Cincinnati and will be covering City Hall and Chicago politics.
* Geoff Wallin is covering cops and criminal justice. He's originally from Wilmette, and is a student at UIC. He was hired because he spells his name correctly.
* Ben Strauss is a Chicago native, a graduate of Whitney Young Magnet School, and an Ithaca College student. He's covering urban planning and development.
* Kate Gardiner is a recent Brandeis graduate who's covering the CTA and transportation issues. Send her all of your bus and El complaints.
