Bull(et) Points

- Powered by three straight games in double figures, Chris Duhon is averaging 11.2 points per game this season, more than five points a game over his rookie average. Duhon is also dishing out 6.3 assists per game, up from 4.9 a season ago. That 6.3 average puts the second-year guard in the top 15 in assists per game league-wide.

- Chicago Tribune columnist Sam Smith no longer sees the Bulls as likely suitors for the services of Peja Stojakovic. Sacramento media reports claim Stojakovic's teammates, most recently Bonzi Wells, have challenged Stojakovic's toughness. Peja would be hard-pressed to argue otherwise, having sat out the last three games with a sprained pinky. Certainly doesn't sound like a Skiles/Paxson type of player. That said, at 6'10" and the owner of a 21.5 points per game average--aided by a 46.7 FG percentage and 47 3PT percentage--Stojakovic is still an undeniable talent, at least on the offensive side of the ball.

- During halftime festivities of the Bulls-Lakers game on Friday, December 9 at the United Center, the Bulls will retire the No. 33 jersey of future Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen. Sounds like a nice tribute is in the works, with Michael Jordan and, of course, former Bulls head coach and current Lakers head coach Phil Jackson slated to attend. Pippen?s high school and college coaches are also on board for the ceremony.
