A four-car Green Line train went off the tracks at 59th and South Prairie a few minutes ago.

The Fire Department says more than two dozen people were injured in the incident, some of them seriously.

Firefighters have just arrived on the scene, and are using rescue baskets to evacuate passengers from the elevated tracks.

While the train left the tracks, it did not fall from the elevated structure the tracks run on, the Fire Department says.
