Behind-The-Scenes Tours

Follow your guide through the door that leads to behind-the-scenes at Shedd and see the aquarium from the perspective of the animal-care staff. The animal hospital, water-quality lab and pathology lab have been added to the tour for 50 minutes of a fascinating insider's look at total animal care at Shedd. You'll learn how they feed the animals and keep the water clean, and see the built-in features that make the exhibits truly natural habitats. Children must be 4'6" tall.
