Atlanta out of playoffs again: Falconer

By Patrick Kissane | Jul 10, 6:37 PM

NHL prospect camps will be wrapping up on Friday. Reading the many blog posts from Atlanta, Holly Gunning thought that former Chicago Wolves Coach John Anderson will be picking Todd Nelson as an assistant based on a few words here and there. That's probably good enough evidence for a blog, but not for a story. Nice work Holly.

The best summary of the camp was from inside the Thrashers organization, Blueland Blog. There were hints to watching a camp and a summary of why 17-year-old prospect Zach Bogosian might actually make the NHL this season. Blueland's take on the camps prospects for the Chicago Wolves: Grant Stevenson and Mike Hoffman will probably make the Wolves.

Over at Do the Thrashers have Tallons, there was an analysis of the upcoming season for the Thrashers. Yikes, Thrashers fans, if the Falconer is correct…

Now you might say he is a curmudgeon or a naysayer, but from time to time, when he written about things I actually follow, and Atlanta hockey is only of interest to me as far as the Wolves are concerned, he has been on the money. Bottom line, Atlanta out of the playoffs… again.
