I know it, you know it, and the Chicago Cubs know it; you can never have too much pitching. The Cubbies added another arm on Monday by signing 29-year old right hander, Wade Miller. Miller spent last season battling injuries in Boston, spending a good chunk of the season on the DL and pitching only 91 innings. Wrigley Scoreboard/Bleachers





As we all know, the Chicago Cubs are currently in the process of renovating and expanding the outfield bleachers in Wrigley Field. The plan, due to be completed by opening day 2006, calls for 1,800 new bleacher seats, a new lounge in centerfield where the juniper bushes used to reside, new bathrooms and concession stands and increased wheel chair accessibility. The success of the Bears this season has been a thing of beauty in Chicago on many levels. I love the history of Chicago football, have lived and died on every snap for many years and am more eager for the playoffs than a grown man should be. However, the surprise division winning season of the Bears has also been a blessing in disguise for another reason altogether. The distraction of the Bears success has been a God send for Chicagoans who are sick and tired of hearing about the World Champion Chicago White Sox.
