The days of the cheap Sun-Times are coming to an end in outlaying areas. The Chicago Tribune, which distributes the Sun-Times, announced the price of the Sun-Times would increase to $1 daily from $0.75 and $2.50 on Sunday from $2.
The price increase goes into effect Monday according to a letter given to retailers this week. The new price matches that of similar Chicago Tribune products and is limited to "country" markets, which are towns and counties outside the Metro...more
