Trouble in Paradise?

According to Chris Broussard of ESPN.com and ESPN the Magazine, Ben Gordon's camp has floated hints to front offices throughout the league that now is the time to prepare their trade offers for Gordon.

Speaking with Silvy & Carmen on ESPN Radio 1000 this morning, Broussard said Gordon is unhappy with the way he is being utilized by head coach Scott Skiles -- that in Gordon's mind, if he misses a few shots early, he finds himself riding the pine in the fourth quarter. Broussard further explained that while Gordon would certainly like to start (as it appeared he...more

Tim, We Hardly Knew You

The Bulls and Tim Thomas are going their separate ways. Exactly how this breakup will shake out remains to be seen. What is certain at this point, however, is Tim Thomas will not suit up again this season for the Bulls.

The Tim Thomas Era was certainly short-lived, but ah, what a ride! I laughed, I cried, I sneezed. And now, here we are, left to pick up the pieces and wonder what went wrong.

Of course, the Chicago Bulls-Tim Thomas marriage never figured to be a very good match, what with Thomas's career reputation as a talented...more

Bring It On Home

At 6-5, the Bulls return home from the latest installment of the Circus Trip in far better shape than last year when they made their way back to Chicago the proud owners of a 1-10 record. The Bulls? fortunes of course gradually changed thereafter, amassing a 46-25 mark the rest of the way en route to becoming one of the NBA?s feel-good stories of the 2004-2005 season.

These Bulls, however, hope to avoid digging such a deep hole, and in wrapping up the traditionally perilous November road trip with an unexpected three-game winning streak, they look to continue their...more

Bull(et) Points

- Powered by three straight games in double figures, Chris Duhon is averaging 11.2 points per game this season, more than five points a game over his rookie average. Duhon is also dishing out 6.3 assists per game, up from 4.9 a season ago. That 6.3 average puts the second-year guard in the top 15 in assists per game league-wide.

- Chicago Tribune columnist Sam Smith no longer sees the Bulls as likely suitors for the services of Peja Stojakovic. Sacramento media reports claim Stojakovic's teammates, most recently Bonzi Wells, have challenged Stojakovic's toughness. Peja would be hard-pressed to...more

Road Trip Recap

The Bulls wrapped up the Circus Trip a very respectable 3-3, bringing their season mark to 6-5. Though that places them just fourth in their own division, 6-5 also happens to be the fourth best record in a surprisingly down Eastern Conference.

So how did the Bulls recover from an ugly 0-3 start to even the road trip mark at 3-3?

Mental Toughness. Friday night in San Antonio, playing in one of the most inhospitable arenas in the NBA, the Bulls kept their cool down the stretch as several calls and non-calls went the way of the home...more
