Body found on Brown Line tracks

Police say they are investigating, but have not determined the cause of death. It does not appear the person was hit by a train, according to the police and the CTA.

Rehabbed Southport station opens soon

The original Southport Station opened May 18, 1907, as part of the Northwestern Elevated, and has seen few changes since. The renovated station will have longer platforms, elevators and security cameras.
